Anthropic's annual revenue surged beyond $19 billion, driven by increased adoption of its AI models including coding assistant Claude Code. The growth comes despite ongoing tensions with the U.S. Department of Defense, recently rebranded as the Department of War under the TRUMP administration.

Tech giants including Nvidia, Amazon and Apple expressed concerns through the Information Technology Industry Council about potential supply chain risk designations. The lobby group warned Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth that such measures could limit military access to cutting-edge technologies from American companies.
